Hi. Welcome here.
My name is Lexa, she/her
I’m a thoughtful listener, a pattern-noticer, and someone who values depth over speed. I care about how people experience the world and how systems shape those experiences. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be real with one another. My work is rooted in presence, relationship, and a deep respect for lived reality.
Long-term collaborators often describe how I show up in relationship.
“Lexa creates space for genuine learning, welcoming questions without judgment, and encouraging reflection with kindness and grace.”

About the Work
My work sits at the intersection of inclusion, accessibility, and culture.
I support communities, organizations, and leaders in building ways of working where people can genuinely participate — where inclusion is lived in everyday practices and belonging becomes possible over time.
I approach this work as a relational practice.
Accessibility removes barriers.
Inclusion is the care and awareness it takes to do that well.
Belonging emerges when people feel seen, supported, and able to choose to be part of what’s being built.
How I Work
My approach is reflective, practical, and grounded in real community contexts.
I focus on building shared language, confidence, and relational capacity that allows inclusion to become the culture.
I pay close attention to pace, safety, and the realities people are navigating inside systems. This work unfolds through conversation, learning, and practice — supported over time.
Accessibility as practice.
Inclusion as relationship.
Belonging as an outcome.
What Shapes My Perspective
My perspective is shaped by lived experience in disability — both personally and as a parent advocate — navigating education, healthcare, and community systems, alongside professional work in inclusion, accessibility, facilitation, and advisory roles.
I bring a coaching-informed, systems-aware lens to this work, grounded in respect for the people inside organizations and communities who are engaging thoughtfully within complex environments.
This work is personal, practiced, and rooted in real lives.
Community-Based & Advisory Work
I contribute to inclusion and accessibility through community-based advisory, volunteer, and governance roles, including:
Destination BC Accessibility Advisory Committee
Chilliwack School District Accessibility Advisory Committee
Inclusion Chilliwack — Chair, Board of Directors
These roles keep my work connected to real systems, real people, and shared responsibility.
Who I Work With
I work with communities, organizations, and leaders who are navigating growth, change, and complexity — and who want support integrating inclusion and accessibility into how they operate, communicate, and relate.
This includes public-facing organizations, community groups, destination partners, and teams who value thoughtful engagement, reflection, and learning as part of their work.
Grounding Belief
Inclusion is not a separate initiative.
It’s a way of being attentive to one another.
When accessibility is practiced with care, inclusion strengthens relationships — and belonging becomes something people experience naturally.
